On March 14th, DASH had the pleasure of hosting NODE + CODE, a meetup where code, design, and publishing converge. As the first edition of the year, the event brought together a dynamic mix of creatives, coders, and artists to explore hybrid publishing—where digital and print intersect in exciting new ways.
The evening kicked off with a deep dive into paged.js, presented by Julien Taquet. This powerful framework enables the seamless transformation of web content into beautifully formatted print publications, opening up new creative possibilities for designers and publishers alike. Following this, an inspiring Show & Tell session featured hybrid publications that push the boundaries of traditional media, showcasing innovative approaches to storytelling, layout, and interaction.
Since its inception in 2014, NODE + CODE has served as a hub for Frankfurt’s creative tech community, bringing together people who are passionate about the artistic and critical application of technology. We were thrilled to host this vibrant exchange of ideas at DASH and look forward to more collaborations in the future.
