A Magazine 26 Curated by Peter Do
At the forefront of this issue is Peter Do, the young Vietnamese American designer who launched his own fashion line in 2018 and assumed the role of creative director at Helmut Lang in 2023. In this edition, Do delves into the theme of home and the memories associated with various places, people, and objects. This project represents the most intimate endeavor yet for the reserved creative.
Contributors to this issue include poet and writer Ocean Vuong, Pulitzer Prize winner Viet Thanh Nguyen, and other notable voices from the Vietnamese diaspora. The magazine features a photo reportage of wet markets in Saigon by filmmaker Tran Anh Hung, artwork by the duo Hart+Leshkina, a collaboration between Do and Aperture Prize winner Van-Nhi Nguyen, and a plethora of other captivating content.
