Constellations – Housing Life as It Unfolds

How can housing adapt to the way people actually live, while using existing space more efficiently? This book proposes constellation housing: flexible, permeable layouts in which rooms are not fixed to one flat but can be shared and recombined as households change, from nuclear families to intergenerational living. Developed with students at UdK Berlin over two semesters, it combines design projects, interviews and graphic analysis.
