Cooperative Conditions – Anne Kockelkorn, Susanne Schindler

A primer on how Zurich, a centre of global finance, has kept a century-long tradition of nonprofit cooperative housing. Anne Kockelkorn and Susanne Schindler, with Rebekka Hirschberg, identify eight conditions, from equity and debt to land and zoning, that make nonspeculative housing possible, and read historic and recent projects through the interplay of architecture, regulation and finance.
