A risograph-printed specimen of ten typefaces made with grid-type.com, an experimental online tool for building grid-based stencil letters, inspired by models such as the 19th-century Plaque Découpée Universelle. Contributors include Charlotte Rohde, Studio HanLi, Svatopluk Ručka and Trang Hà, and interviews with Lena Weber, studio pointer* and Céline Hurka discuss the relation between type design and tools. Edited and designed by Katharina Nejdl.
