O - Daniel Reuter & Umihara Chikara

O explores Osaka’s waterfront through a month-long residency by photographers Daniel Reuter and Umihara Chikara. Living by the Okawa River, the artists documented daily walks and the city’s vast industrial bay areas. Each contributed half of the photographs, though authorship remains intentionally blurred.

Set within Osaka’s shifting urban periphery—where global infrastructure meets lived experience—the book is part of the artistic programme of the Luxembourg Pavilion at Osaka World Expo 2025.
