Off-Menu is a community-driven publication dedicated to uncovering the stories that shape our relationship with food and drink. Its debut issue, Recipes From Home, explores how memory, culture, and identity intertwine through the dishes of three rising chefs in New York City: Jocelyn Dang (Le Bernardin, Jungsik, Atoboy), Vincent Zheng (June Wine Bar, Nudibranch), and Morgan Kim (Virginia’s, Crown Shy).

Captured across a single day in June 2024, the chefs welcomed the Off-Menu team into their home kitchens to prepare dishes that reflect their roots. Each story unfolds through evocative photography and long-form writing, tracing their journeys in the culinary world, the inspirations behind their food, and the personal rituals of cooking.

The issue culminates in an intimate shared dinner, where the chefs present their creations and reflect on the meaning of home. Alongside these narratives, readers will find three exclusive recipes: Steamed Snapper, Journeys Through Porchetta, and Glastonbury Lamb.
