Raumpilot*in. Gendergerechter Städtebau – Handbuch für Planer*innen

Based on eight guidelines issued by the German Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development, and Building, a six-member student team from the Emergency Measures studio at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has created a handbook for designing more gender-inclusive cities.

The book provides concrete planning strategies to ensure that all people are considered in the built environment, promoting gender equity on an intersectional level. It features both real-world examples and self-developed scenarios, serving as a knowledge resource, practical guide, and source of inspiration for architects, planners, and urban designers.
