The Cat – Ari Marcopoulos

Photographer and filmmaker Ari Marcopoulos portrays Norwegian snowboarder Terje Haakonsen, known as "the Cat", one of the defining figures of the sport. Gathered over several years, the black-and-white images show him riding as well as at home with family and friends. It was the first in Marcopoulos' series of portrait books about people in their everyday surroundings.
