256GB is Yung Lean's first book, a deeply personal and visually arresting volume that charts the artist's path from an internet outsider to a global cult figure. Emerging from the vaporwave aesthetic and melancholic surrealism of the early 2010s internet culture, Yung Lean's practice resonates through its fusion of sincere introspection and raw humor.
This book is an autonomous artistic production, collating 574 intimate, extemporary images shot exclusively on his personal devices (iPhones 6, 8, X & SE). Developed in close collaboration with OK-RM and Suzie&Leo, this collection transforms the chaotic nature of a camera roll into a cohesive, classical body of work.
